Our client is a leader in their field. Due to a restructure they require a short-term contractor to join their team based in the Melbourne CBD. This role has lots of variety as you will be assisting a varied client base as a Technical Consulting providing 1st, 2nd and some 3rd level support across Windows, Mac, mobiles, iPad and printers as the customers generally bring their own devices. You will have a professional, proactive, enthusiastic attitude to work with non-IT savvy customers in their own office space. This is a floor walking position which will allow you to interact with stakeholder directly and make use of your varied technical skills.

To apply for this contract you will need the following:
  • Be available immediately or at short notice
  • Solid technical support skills in Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory and Exchange
  • Experience with Office 365
  • Experience with supporting Mac - all versions
  • Experience with Spam Filters and Security is essential
  • Experience with TCP/IP, Domestic Routers
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint etc.
  • Be able to assist with Audio Visual and teleconference set ups
  • Previous experience working within the professional sector
  • An excellent proactive attitude and be able to articulate technical issues in basic terms
  • Be more of a solutions-oriented consultant being able to identify options and alternatives to address the root cause or issue
