Our client is a dynamic health service provider that operates in an environment where quality patient care is paramount. Their vision, as a health service, is to provide health and wellbeing through exceptional care.

They are seeking an experienced Technical/Solutions Architect to lead the development of end to end specialist technical architectures to guide the development and implementation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems.

This is a contract until the 31st of December + possible extension based on the Sunshine Coast.

Your role:
  • Contribute to and assure the technical architecture designs and configuration for the Project solution to meet business and architectural requirements.
  • Collaborate with the other enterprise and solution architects and subject matter experts to ensure synergies are maximised with the other ICT initiatives being undertaken by the Department.
  • Ensure that the Project solution scope and direction of the work is well understood and adhered to and that any associated change is managed effectively.
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure the outcomes are delivered within the specified timeframes and budget while meeting quality assurance requirements.
  • Develop, coordinate and monitor the implementation ICT project deliverables in accordance with project management methodologies and techniques.
  • Provide specialist expertise to business and technical integration activities, change management and commissioning activities.
  • Manage high level communication and consultation with a broad range of project stakeholders with competing interests and priorities.
  • Implement and monitor the organisation's quality standards, occupational health and safety policies, procedures and programs and provide clinical governance in the relevant work area.
Must have:
  • A Queensland 'C' class driving licence is mandatory.
  • Appropriate tertiary and/or post-graduate qualifications in Technical Architecture or high level of experience in complex ICT Projects would be well regarded.
  • Demonstrable experience and expertise in delivering complex technical architectures and integrated solutions, particularly with multiple vendor, across some or all of the following:
                    - Clinical grade ICT LAN and WLAN 
                    - PC's, printers, all-in-ones, WoW's and clinical grade mounting solutions
                    - Network infrastructure, both LAN and WLAN
                    - Audio-visual solutions
                   - Group 1 build, engineering and maintenance solutions within a clinical grade environment.
