 My client who are one of Australia's best known Financial Services organisation are adding to their Technical Support team and are looking to hire a permanent Technical Support Analyst.

The role will centre around supporting a Financial Clearing System and will be responsible for:
  • Solving system issues by identifying root causes
  • Acting as the escalation point of System issues
  • Providing 24/7 support (rotational)
  • Provision of 2nd Level Technical Support
  • Incident Management, Problem release managements and Change Management tasks
  • Testing of Enhancements to the System
  • Be responsible for the middleware technologies and protocols such as Swift, AMQP and FIX
  • Creation and Maintenance of technical documentation to ensure operational support is maintained
  • Working on Desktop and Server side software installation and configuration or systems
Requirements of the candidate:
  • 5 plus years' experience in supporting Business Critical Applications
  • Experience working with Linux OS
  • Proven experience of Perl or Python Scripting
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Good general understanding of financial industry (settlement, clearing, payments systems)
  • Strong Database Administration experience
  • Experience with IT Infrastructure Security
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
