My client who are one of Australia's best known Financial Services organisation are adding to their Technical Support team and are looking to hire a permanent Technical Support Analyst.

The role will centre around supporting a Financial Clearing System and will be responsible for:

·        Solving system issues by identifying root causes
·        Acting as the escalation point of System issues
·        Providing 24/7 support (rotational)
·        Provision of 2nd Level Technical Support
·        Incident Management, Problem release managements and Change Management tasks
·        Testing of Enhancements to the System
·        Be responsible for the middleware technologies and protocols such as Swift, AMQP and FIX
·        Creation and Maintenance of technical documentation to ensure operational support is maintained
·        Working on Desktop and Server side software installation and configuration or systems

 Requirements of the candidate:
  • 5 plus years' experience in supporting Business Critical Applications
  • Experience working with Linux OS
  • Proven experience of Perl or Python Scripting
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Good general understanding of financial industry (settlement, clearing, payments systems)
  • Strong Database Administration experience
  • Experience with IT Infrastructure Security
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
