Talent International is excited to be working in partnership with a well-known telecommunications company who is seeking a Technical Support Engineer on a 6-month contract, located in Sydney.

The role:
  • Provide first and second level technical support to customers 
  • Assess, test, troubleshoot, document, upgrade and develop maintenance procedures for IP networks and Network Management Systems
  • Work closely with various customer organizations to support the customer's network, equipment, and operations

This role will require you to be on a 24/7 roster to resolve any Customer Network issues, to meet strict Service Level Agreements (SLA), such as restore and resolve times.

About you:
  • Strong background in IP products knowledge
  • Supported Products/IP areas: 5620 SAM, NSP (NFM-P), Red Hat Linux, Java technology and Virtual Machine, Oracle database 7x50 SR, 7210 SAS, 7705
  • Thrive in an unstructured and high-pressure environment
  • Add value and develop strong relationships with customers through your technical expertise
