A large government agency is seeking a Training and Support Lead who will be responsible for developing and delivering training material for new system implementations, as well as supporting staff as they start using the new systems.
 
  • 6 MONTH CONTRACT
  • CANBERRA LOCATION
  • OCCASIONAL TRAVEL BETWEEN CANBERRA BASED LOCATIONS
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Consult with project team to understand functionality of new releases and which roles will be affected and how deployment will work in the context of the existing process (and unchanged parts of the business).
  • Conduct training needs analysis.
  • Develop high quality training materials.
  • Deliver training to staff.
  • Support staff as they operate target state processes and systems.
  • Lead and manage training and support team.
  • Manage multiple deliverables and schedules simultaneously.
  • Prioritise and work with internal and external deadlines.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Tertiary qualifications in adult education or appropriate experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in developing instructor led and e-learning training material for ERP systems
  • Experience in delivering training to white and blue collar audiences.
  • Experience working in an Agile project environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience supporting staff in using computer systems on Windows and iPads.
  • Superior proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Oracle user Productivity Kit and Adobe Captivate would be an advantage.
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely on a technical subject for a non-technical audience, and ability to translate specialist information into a form suitable for specific types of stakeholders.
  • An understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships.
  • Have a current driver's license valid in ACT and willingness to travel locations throughout the ACT.
