Our Adelaide CBD based client has a fully-structured Service Desk branch within. The unit is responsible for the provision of first level Service Desk services supporting the departments' business units throughout South Australia. 

Service Desk Officers provide a key frontline customer service role. This role is for the weekend roster covering 7.00am - 7.00pm Saturday, Sunday and 8.00am -5.45pm on Monday.

This role provides efficient and effective customer service by:
  • Providing first level Service Desk support for standard desktop applications, and other approved and installed software including but not limited to; personal computers, laptops, tablets, ipads and iphones.
  • Providing excellent customer service to customers by displaying a 'can do' positive attitude
  • Resolving queries or incidents in an efficient and prompt manner whilst providing excellent customer service to customers by adding value to each contact the customer has with the Service Desk.
Skills and experienced required:
  • Highly developed communication and customer service skills
  • IT problem-solving skills including the ability to explain solutions in an efficient and clear manner in both technical and non-technical terms
  • Effective time management skills to ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner 
  • Experience with various versions of Windows OS, MS Office, Active Directory, LAN & WAN

National Police check and DCSI Child Related screening are required.
